Privacy Policy
Amen Reel is built to be private. You do not need an account, and we do not run ads or analytics in the app.
What stays on your device
- Saved verses, your reading position and progress, your streak, and your settings (look, text size, translation, reminder time).
- This information is stored on your device only. We do not receive it and cannot see it.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily verse reminder, the app schedules local notifications on your device. They are created on your phone and are not sent through any server. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether a subscription or purchase is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase information from Apple for that purpose, under RevenueCat's privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.
Audio
Narration audio is bundled with the app and, in the future, may be downloaded from our server. Downloading a file does not require an account, and we do not use it to identify you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
